As a Hilton Head family photographer, my approach is simple: create an experience that feels easy, flows naturally, and leaves room for real connection. I guide when it’s helpful, step back when moments unfold on their own, and keep things moving so your time together feels relaxed and enjoyable.
Every family is different — some energetic, some quiet, some somewhere in between. My role is to read the room, adapt to your dynamic, and help everyone feel comfortable so the images reflect who you actually are.

My role is to take that weight off your shoulders by guiding your session with a steady, relaxed pace so you can take a breath, enjoy your family, and simply be present without worrying how anyone behaves.
Whether a child feels shy, silly, or on the move, it’s all part of the experience — and no matter what, I will get good photos. The result is a collection of images that capture real moments: joyful, playful, soft, and genuine, just as your family is.

You can book your family photos directly on my calendar. Sessions are typically 30 minutes and scheduled around the best light on Hilton Head Island.

You don’t need to perform, pose, or manage anyone. Just come be with your family—moving, laughing, connecting—while I take care of everything else.

Within two weeks, you’ll receive a private online gallery of fully edited images, ready to download, print, and share with printing rights included forever.

No surprise fees. And you never have to choose or narrow your image count. If it’s in focus, well-composed, and captures a real moment, you’ll receive the edited photo.

The right location for your family photos depends on your group, your schedule, and the look you want. We’ll work together to choose a setting that photographs beautifully and works well for your family.
Family sessions are typically photographed in a few timeless Hilton Head settings, including:
- Wide, open beaches with dunes and shoreline for a classic island feel
- Lowcountry oak trees with Spanish moss for shade and texture
- Marsh or harbor views with a quieter, scenic backdrop
I have favorite spots I personally recommend for the best light and flow, and — in some cases — sessions can also take place right at your vacation rental, depending on access.

FAQ
How many images will we receive?
You’ll receive a full digital gallery of strong images from your session. There’s no hard limit—typically around 25–35—but every photo that’s sharp, well-composed, and full of connection is included!
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
Kids don’t need to behave perfectly here. Sessions are designed for movement and personality. I follow their lead, keep things light, and capture genuine moments—the in between often become favorites.
What if it rains?
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll adjust. Sessions can be easily rescheduled, and deposits are fully refundable for weather issues if a suitable rain date isn’t possible during your stay.
Can grandparents join?
Grandparents are always welcome! For multi-generation groups, an extended family session is the best fit. If you’re unsure what to book, I’m happy to help you choose during your inquiry.
